Maybole Castle

Culzean Castle

Designed by Robert Adam in the late 18th century, and "filled to the turrets with treasures that tell the stories of the people who lived here", Culzean Castle is worthy of a visit.

From it's position perched on the Ayrshire cliffs, it has a special atmosphere - and some claim it to be very haunted.

The Castle is reputed to be haunted by at least seven ghosts, including a piper and a servant girl. The Kennedy Piper is its most notorious, and is more often heard than seen.
